There was a long black hair strand on the sink when we arrived, neither my partner nor I have long black hair.

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
I really enjoyed my stay mostly because of the staff. All very kind and incredibly helpful. The Irish breakfast was also delicious and a very large portion.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
The state of the room was deceiving compared to the photo on the website. The carpet seems old and dirty, and the bathroom seemed to have several different places with mold. I think the place is equivalent to the price per night. But I so think the photos on the website could mislead customers to have an expectation of a nicer living space.

The room was absolutely perfect, very well decorated and modern, it was just what we needed for one night in Dublin, the lodge was central to Dublin walking distance from all amenities. Will be staying again in the future

The staff were so friendly and the room was very clean and cozy. I would recommend the Celtic Lodge to anyone!

Das Hotel liegt Central. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Dafür, dass es über einem Pup liegt hatten wir ein ruhiges Zimmer allerdings nur mit einem Oberlicht, das man aber öffnen konnte. Das Bad ist klein aber für uns war es für den Aufenthalt ausreichend.

Very friendly and welcoming staff who were very accommodating with storing bags before and after check out. Central to everything as well.

Lovely clean, modern room, fantastic location and very friendly and helpful staff in reception and at breakfast who couldn’t do enough for us!

The noise from the bar downstairs was dreadful- thumping beats until 1am. Not something the hotel can control but it has put me off ever staying again- we couldn’t even the television hear our television. We got no sleep until all the revellers from the bar had left. Also my mam struggled with the stairs, it’s a shame there is no lift.

Convenient location to buses and trains, comfortable bed, helpful and knowledgeable staff.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
The location is also quite busy and loud on Fridays and weekends. If you need complete silence to sleep, this might not be a good place for you.

Warmth of staff. Knowledge of Dublin by innkeepers and enthusiastic sharing of information. Location to center of city, historic sites, pubs and restaurants.

Noise over pub which then stops at midnight.

Nice big room with very comfortable beds so a good sleep. Location to city centre a real plus. Breakfast service good, reception and breakfast staff very good, particularly Esther.

Breakfast on first morning, sausages and pudding not tasty. On second day had bacon and eggs. Plenty of toast and attention to customers.
